Hello Lorraine,
Just wanted to keep you updated on Clyde. Yesterday was his 1 year anniversary of his “homecoming day”. He has changed so much over the year- he was so timid and afraid of everything (the patio furniture, stairs, etc.) when he first came home. He and Olive have paired so well; their wrestling matches are hysterical and he is very gentle with her. Clyde is so very rotten now-hugs, kisses, belly rubs, climbing on the porch swing and rolling in the grass, you would be amazed at how bossy he has become when he needs a hug. We hope to come visit you and Larry soon so you can see him and get a Clyde “hug”.

Just checking in to let you know that Daisy (Andie) is doing great! She is such a sweet girl. She loves playing with toys and she’s learning to fetch and return. She loves to sun herself in the pine straw on the hill in the backyard. She thinks she’s a lapdog, which is just fine with me. Thank you for taking such good care of her for the time she was at K911. Daisy is a blessing to our home!
Thanks,
Tracie Martin
Just wanted to thank you so much for Oscar (formerly Poncho). He’s been here for a week in Victoria now and he’s quite the happy pup with an old soul, perfect for us. He is starting to really come out of his shell and shine. We can tell he must have loved playing with the other dogs at Rescue-K911 because he loves to greet all of them calmly before becoming quick friends — he loves to chase and be chased!
We were wondering if it was possible to get some of his puppy photos from you guys so we can keep them in his growing photo portfolio. We would be happy to keep you updated as well. Thank you again and keep up the great work!
Hi Lorraine and Larry. We adopted Sadie in late August through Dogbless. She is the lab border collieX that you advertised as lab terrierX. General consensus in the dog park is that she is definitely part border collie as she herds all her friends. We took the e off her name “sadi” and she is doing fantastic. She is the most affectionate little love. She is so loyal and is just starting her obedience training. She spends weekends on one of our local gulf islands on our 1 acre property and plays in the sea and in the woods and snuggles by the camp fire and sleeps in our bunkhouse or trailer. She loves her long long hikes through the trails and is just as happy in town chasing and playing with her friends at the dog park. She doesn’t go to sleep until she has checked the kids bedrooms and has been nothing but a wonderful addition to our family. I wonder sometimes why I waited so long to get another dog after my Kala past away(3 years) but I think its because we were waiting for Sadi. Thank you for all you do and if you would like photos or videos of our girl please reply to this email so I can attach them to a new email. Please continue your beautiful work. Nina Dave and family
We are Mylie’s (known once as the puppy Aussie, who was rescued with her two other siblings on the side of the road)adoptive family. We cannot thank you enough for providing Mylie with an opportunity to find love and the life she deserves. She found it in beautiful Victoria, Canada with us. She provides us with so much love and happiness, we just could not imagine our lives without her. She has a life full of hikes, runs, play dates and friends and family that adore her. Thank you for the wonderful gift. Your work touches the hearts of so many. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
How wonderful to know there are so many loving and loyal helpers for RescueK911. I am so very proud of my daughter, Loraine & Larry, for their love and devotion to saving the lives of discarded and unwanted puppies and dogs.
